Buying Kunekune Pigs

If you are looking at buying some Kunekune pigs, this is the place to start.

There are piglets for sale on the Litters page and some older pigs on the For Sale page. All pigs advertised on these pages are registered, pedigree Kunekunes.

When you are starting out, have a look at the 'Breed Standard' article. This will help you to choose good stock to start you off.

There are also many photos in the gallery 'Show' pictures of some of the prize winning Kunekunes around the UK.

Prices vary from breeder to breeder and geographically too, although you can expect to pay more for good breeding pigs.

There are often good registered Kunekunes, through no fault of their own, looking for new homes listed on the Rescue & Rehoming page. Or if you are prepared to rehome pigs such as these, please contact the society to be informed when pigs requiring re-homing become available. You will only be asked for a small donation to cover the expenses incurred through re-homing.

N.B. In the interests of the breed, please do not buy unregistered stock.
