| Yesterday I rehomed two young gilts. One of them has several large bald patches,I am going to give them both noromectin in case of lice or mange. Also I have a book on pet pigs which suggests giving one tablespoon of corn oil per day on the food to improve skin condition. What are other kune owners views on this? Has anyone tried this? |

Darrell, did you resolve the problem of bald patches?. I notice that one of my 2 castrated boars has a small bald patch on his back & I'm wondering what treatment I should give. Suggestions anyone?
EDIT: OK, I see another thread on page 2 that suggests its not uncommon. I'll change bedding and discuss it with the vet to see if he thinks a noromectin injection might be appropriate.. _________________ Martin |
