Volunteer Role – Membership & Communications Assistant

Due to ongoing changes and planning for the future we have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the committee as Membership & Communications Assistant.

This new role is to support the Society Secretary with the administration of our membership records via our cloud lines database alongside dealing with any membership related queries. The role may include but isn’t limited to:

  • Ensuring members details are correct, including cross checking payments from PayPal to our new system during our current transition.
  • Assisting members with queries relating to their membership
  • Sending out welcome packs to new members (reasonable agreed expenses will be reimbursed).
  • Sending our membership reminders & follow up calls to any members whose membership lapses.
  • Working alongside other committee members to encourage new society members.
  • Attending committee meetings as required, average 4 times per year (virtual calls)
  • Attend AGM once per year, currently virtual but may revert to face to face.
