Volunteer Role – Social Media & Digital Communications Assistant

Due to ongoing changes and planning for the future we have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us as a Social Media & Digital Communications Assistant.

This exciting new role is to support the Society Secretary with the daily administration & planning of our social media presence. The role may include but isn’t limited to:

  • Developing a social media plan for the society alongside the Secretary & Committee
  • Responding to queries received on social media, directing to other committee members, regional reps or online resources as needed.
  • Designing/ collecting assets & content for social media channels
  • Support the committee in finding new ways to engage with our audience on social media.
  • Ensuring relevant information such as show dates, results, AGM, local meetings etc are posted on social media regularly.
  • Attending committee meetings as required, average 4 times per year (virtual calls)
  • Attend AGM once per year, currently virtual but may return to face to face.
